April 2, 2017 The DU men's tennis team saw its three-match winning streak come to an end on Sunday as the Crimson & Gold dropped a 4-3 decision to UCSB at Colorado Athletic Club-Monaco. Denver is now 8-10 on the season.
The Pioneers got off to a good start on Sunday, earning the doubles on the strength of wins by Team James/Gasson and Team Fernandez Del Valle/Lovera. Fernandez Del Valle and James went on to earn straight-set singles wins for DU, but the Guachos captured the other four matches to take the decision by a single point.
