The DU men's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to New Mexico on Friday afternoon at Lifetime Fitness Centennial in its penultimate match of the 2017 regular season. Denver (10-12, 3-0 Summit League) will wrap up its regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon (2pm, CAC-Monaco) vs. league rivals Omaha (8-11, 2-1 Summit League).

After New Mexico took the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead on Friday, DU tied things up at one apiece courtesy of sophomore Ignatius Castelino, who defeated Sean Baklini in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) to register the second win of his career. Prior to Saturday's match against the Mavericks, all three of Denver's graduating student-athletes (Diogo Rocha, Alex Gasson & Yannik James) will be recognized for their contributions to the program.
