DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs will pack their bags for the first time in the 2018-19 campaign and head to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes and Wolverines from Michigan for a two-day double-dual meet this weekend. The event will begin on Friday at 5 p.m. MT at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Saturday's action begins at 9 a.m. MT.

LAST TIME OUT – Denver Sweeps Wyoming
Following the men's season-opening victory against Air Force last Thursday, the Pioneer men's and women's programs swept Wyoming less than 48 hours later in a dual at El Pomar Natatorium. On the men's side, junior
Hugo Sykes led the Pioneers with Summit League Men's Swimmer of the Week swims in two individual event victories, two relay wins and a pair of second place finishes last week (both meets combined). For the DU women,
Brandi Vu led the Pioneers by sweeping the breaststroke events and swimming in Denver's winning 400 medley relay.

Denver will have nearly four weeks off before both programs head to Knoxville for the 2018 Tennessee Invitational.
