Men's Ice Hockey

Alumni Q&A: Mark Rycroft

It took Mark Rycroft only three seasons to eclipse the century mark with 51 goals and 52 assists in 117 NCAA games from 1997-2000. The Penticton, B.C. native wore letters in two of his three years with the Pioneers, donning the "A" as a sophomore and "C" as a junior. In 1999, Rycroft's guidance helped Denver to a WCHA Championship and berth in the NCAA tournament. He made his NHL debut with the St. Louis Blues in 2001, beginning an NHL career that would span 226 games as a member of the Blues and Colorado Avalanche.
