KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Following a three-day meet at the Tennessee Invitational last weekend, a trio of Pioneers in
Kyle Robrock (Savage, Minn.),
Cameron Auchinachie (Binghamton, N.Y.) and
Neil Wachtler (Waco, Texas) stayed behind in Knoxville to do LCM time trials to earn trial standards for the 2020 US Olympic Trials.
All three Pioneers qualified for the Olympic trials in Knoxville on Sunday morning. Auchinachie earned a 22.81 in the 50 free, Robrock also qualified with a 23.14 and Wachtler clocked in at 56.54 in the 100 back to qualify.
UP NEXT: Denver will once again return to Florida for its annual winter training trip, ultimately competing December 20
th in the FAU Fun Invite. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. MT.
TOGETHER 4 COLORADO TOY DRIVE:
The Pioneers have partnered with CBS4 for the Together 4 Colorado Toy Drive to support the Denver community during the holiday season. Beginning Nov. 17, there will be toy drops at every Denver Athletics and Newman Center event thru Dec. 19. Additionally, there will be a Community Shop 'n Drop on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., hosted by the Denver Cheerleading squad at the circle drive on the north side of the Ritchie Center.
