The Denver Pioneers (11-9, 5-1) closed the regular season with a 7-0 win against South Dakota State in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Sunday.
The Pioneers' conference sweep marked their third of the season. Denver enters the Summit League Championships having won four of its last five matches.
In doubles play, Pedro Fernandez Del Valle and Eric Morris logged a 6-1 win at No. 2 and Mattia Ros and Wyatt Lovera secured the team point with a 6-0 victory at No. 3.
On the singles courts, Ros won 7-6, 6-2 at No. 1, Summers won 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2, Ruder-Hook won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3, Morris won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4, Castelino won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 and Lovera won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.
Denver will return to action on April 27-28 at the Summit League Championships set to be held in Denver, Colo.
