DU Heads to Texas For Aggie Invitational

DENVER - The University of Denver men's golf team heads down to Texas for the 2018 Aggie Invitational. The 54-hole tournament is set to begin on Saturday with rounds 1 and 2 at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.

Head coach Erik Billinger is going with the lineup of Chris Korte, Eric Hagen, Isaac Petersilie, Jackson Solem and John Sand.

Par for the 7,146-yard course is 72.

This year's 14-team field features a slew of highly-ranked teams from around the country, highlighted by No. 1 Oklahoma State and host No. 2 Texas A&M.

The Pioneers are coming off a 12th-place finish at the Duck Invitational back on Mar. 27.

Korte led the way for the Pioneers, tying for 21st with a three-round total of 220 (7-over-par).

Sand looks to continue to build on his solid play last two tournaments.
