Kuhle Brings on Don Hurter to Staff

DENVER –University of Denver women's golf head coach Lindsay Kuhle announced the addition of volunteer coach Don Hurter on Friday. The incoming coach will join the Pioneers for the upcoming season.
 
Hurter was on the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 President's Council on Growing the Game. He is a PGA teaching professional at Castle Pines Golf Club, home of the PGA International golf tournament in the 1990s-2000s.
 
Hurter played college golf at University of New Mexico from 1980-84. The Hawaii native earned WAC All-Conference and All-America honors in 1984.
 
The Pioneers return to action for the season opener at the Golfweek Conference Challenge on Sept. 24 in Wolcott, Colo.
