Denver Volleyball Looks for Donations to Help Saint Sebastian

DENVER— The University of Denver women's volleyball team is pairing with Saint Sebastian to help give back to the Denver community. On Saturday, Sep. 1 fans are encouraged to come to the Pioneers' game against Sacramento State at 7 p.m. MT and bring any old athletic clothing, gear, or equipment to donate.

The Saint Sebastian program works with underfunded inner city schools to provide donations and other services to afternoon athletic programs, often in schools that otherwise would not be able to sponsor those sporting events themselves.

Denver volleyball is looking for any donations from all different sports. Jerseys, balls, shoes, cleats, bags, etc. are all welcome. There will be a table near the entrance of Hamilton Gym where fans can drop off their donations before watching the final game of the Denver Classic.
