Auchinachie Named Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Week

The Pioneer junior won six relay events and turned in the fifth-best 100 free time in the country this week

DENVER – University of Denver junior men's swimmer Cameron Auchinachie (Binghamton, N.Y.) has been named the Summit League Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
 
Auchinachie was a part of six relay victories for the Pioneers in their first meet of the year, a quad that saw the Denver men and women sweep the 2019 Denver Relays.
 
The Denver junior's leadoff leg in the 400 free relay on Saturday was the fifth-ranked time in the country in the 100 free this weekend.

 UP NEXT: The Denver women's program will host Colorado State for its senior meet on Friday, October 11th. Diving begins at 2 p.m. MT ahead of the swimming events that will begin at 4 p.m. MT. On Saturday, Denver's men's and women's programs will welcome Colorado Mesa to El Pomar. Diving will begin at 1:15 p.m. MT ahead of the 2 p.m. MT swim meet.
