DENVER – Individual meet tickets for the 2020 University of Denver women's gymnastics season are now on sale.
Denver will host five meets during the regular season, four of which will be held in Magness Arena. Among the teams traveling to Denver are 2019 NCAA Regionals qualifiers Minnesota, Washington, BYU and George Washington.
Single meet tickets start at $9 for general admission. Reserved seats are available for $11. Season tickets are still on sale beginning at $35, and group tickets for groups of 10 or more are $5 per meet. Tickets can be
purchased online or by calling the Ritchie Center box office at 303-871-4625.
The University of Denver women's gymnastics team, presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will host its home opener on January 12 in Magness Arena against Minnesota.
Ticket information for NCAA Regionals on April 2-4 will be made available soon.
Denver set a new all-time attendance record during the 2019 season when it welcomed a sold-out crowd of 6,100 fans to Magness Arena on February 10. The second-highest attended meet in DU history also occurred in 2019 with more than 5,000 fans attending DU's March 10 meet. DU finished ranked No. 10 in the nation for average home meet attendance in 2019.
The Pioneers will enter the 2020 season ranked No. 7 in the preseason coaches' poll. It is the highest Denver has ever been ranked in the preseason and comes after the team's historic 2019 season. DU advanced to its first-ever NCAA Team Final in 2019 where Denver finished a record-shattering fourth overall. Returning from the 2019 roster are NCAA National Floor co-Champion junior
Lynnzee Brown (Kansas City, Mo.) and postseason All-Americans senior
Maddie Karr (Stillwater, Minn.), sophomore
Alexandria Ruiz (Lake Mary, Fla.) and sophomore
Alexis Vasquez (Arcadia, Calif.).
PRE-MEET TAILGATES
Join fellow DU Gymnastics fans and supporters before four of Denver's home meets at the team's pre-meet tailgates. Pre-meet tailgate passes are $20 each and include food and beverages. A cash bar will be open at each tailgate. Attendees can watch warm-ups from Magness Arena during the tailgates.
Pre-meet tailgates will be available for the January 12, February 2, February 16 and March 8 meets.
