DENVER – The University of Denver women's gymnastics team will host its annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad on Saturday, December 14, at 6 p.m. in Hamilton Gymnasium. Admission is free.
The event will feature the Pioneers competing all four events in front of judges in preparation for the 2020 gymnastics season. It is the last chance for fans to see Denver in action before the team's home opener on January 12.
During the intrasquad, fans can take part in DU Gymnastics trivia for the chance to win prizes. Fans can also meet the team and get autographs after competition ends.
DU is coming off an historic 2019 season in which the Pioneers advanced to the NCAA Team Final for the first time in program history and finished fourth in the country. Among the gymnasts returning from the 2019 roster is NCAA National co-Champion on floor Lynnzee Brown (Kansas City, Mo.) and postseason All-Americans Maddie Karr (Stillwater, Minn.), Alexandria Ruiz (Lake Mary, Fla.) and Alexis Vasquez (Arcadia, Calif.).
Denver also welcomes five freshmen for 2020: Emma Brown (Adel, Iowa), Victoria Fitts (Fort Collins, Colo.), Amoree Lockhart (Fort Worth, Texas), Callie Schlottman (Savage, Minn.) and AK Subject (Wayzata, Minn.).
Season tickets for the 2020 season are now on sale. Season ticket holders from the 2019 season can renew their tickets by calling 303-871-4625. New season tickets can be purchased online or by calling 303-871-4625.
