SIOUX FALLS – University of Denver volleyball junior
Tina Boe was named to the 2019 Summit League Academic All-League Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
A business analytics major, Boe was one of six athletes to receive the award, locking in Denver's seventh honor since joining the league in 2013.
The Plymouth, Minn. native had a standout year on the court for the Pioneers. Helping lead Denver to their fifth Summit League title and sixth consecutive NCAA tournament, Boe notched a first team All-Summit League honor and was named to the Summit League All-Tournament team.
Omaha, Oral Roberts and South Dakota were also represented in this year's honors. All 2019 academic selections had at least a 3.30 cumulative career grade-point average, have completed at least one full academic year and participated in 50% of their team's matches.
