DENVER – Former Pioneers Wes Berg and Jeremy Noble put on the San Diego Seals shirt for the first time on Saturday night to begin their 2020 National Lacrosse League seasons.
 
In his first game back since the 2018 playoffs with Calgary, Berg netted two second quarter goals two minutes apart and distributed four assists in his San Diego Seals debut. Noble made his Seals debut as well, coming to San Diego after five seasons with the Colorado Mammoth, scoring twice and adding a helper in a 13-10 loss at Buffalo.

The Denver men's lacrosse program, Presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will begin its 2020 campaign on February 8 with a trip to Air Force (1 p.m. MT). Denver will open its home schedule on February 15 against Duke (12 p.m. MT). Prior to the start of the 2020 season, Denver will host Delaware in an exhibition on Friday, January 31 at 3 p.m. MT.
