TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Denver women's golf team makes another trip to Arizona to participate in the Arizona Wildcat Invitational. The Pioneers will begin play with 36 holes on Monday at the Sewailo Golf Club.
Par for the 6,494-yard course is 72.
The field features 17 teams from around the country, including host No. 8 Arizona.
Head coach
Lindsay Kuhle is going with the lineup of
Mary Weinstein, Sophie Newlove, Alyson Bean, Camille Enright and
Trussy Li.
Anni Heck will also compete, but as an individual.
Weinstein is coming off here third top-10 finish this season at the Westbrook Invitational back on Feb. 25.
DU also posted its first sub-par scoring for an entire tournament this year at the event, finishing with a 1-under 863.
Rounds one and two are set for Monday.
