DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team will host Summit League opponent Drake and non-league foe UC Santa Barbara this weekend at Denver Tennis Park.
The Pios (6-7, 1-0) have lost five of their last six matches but they have an opportunity to end the season on a high note, with five league matches remaining. On Saturday, DU will host Drake (14-12, 4-0) at 11:00 am MT and on Sunday, the Pioneers host UC Santa Barabara (8-5, 0-0) at 12:00 pm MT. Â SophomoreÂ
Mattia Ros leads DU from the No. 1 position and is 4-2 in his last six singles matches.Â
Ignatius Castelino has also provided solid contribution for the Pios, compiling a record of 9-4 in singles competition this season. In doubles playÂ

Pedro Fernandez Del Valle are 6-4 at No. 2.
