The No. 46 Denver Pioneers women's tennis team (10-3, 1-0) opened Summit League play with a 7-0 win against Oral Roberts on Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.

Camille Verden-Anderson started the day with a 6-0 victory against Ceijenia Cornelius/Gorana Kadijevic at No. 1, then
Hannah Templeton/
Toni Nelson followed suit with a 6-1 victory against Andrea Vasiljevic/Rai Sengupta at No. 3 to give the Pioneers the doubles point.
Denver capped its sixth sweep of the season with six singles victories. Verden-Anderson tabbed the first singles victory with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Vasiljevic at No. 5, then No. 82 Mok followed suit with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Cornelius.
Anna Riedmiller secured the clinch with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Balcazar at No. 3. The Pioneers also picked up wins from
Hada Chang's 6-0, 6-0 win against Valetina Gisbert at No. 6,
Tatum Burger's 6-1, 6-0 takedown of Sengupta at No. 4 and
Arisha Ladhani's 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Kadijevic at No. 2.
The Pioneers remain perfect on their home court with a 7-0 mark. Denver is set to return to the Denver Tennis Park on March 15 against Omaha and March 16 against South Dakota.
