ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Denver golf team closed out the final day of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in style, taking down Daytona State College 4-1 in match play on Saturday. The Pioneers' win gave them a sweep of the Black bracket.
The tournament, being hosted by No. 39 Georgia, was played at the University of Georgia Golf Course.

DU got four wins by Newlove, Enright, Li and Bean.
Denver now gears up for the postseason with the Summit League Championship in Newton, Kan. next weekend. First-round action at the Sand Creek Golf Club is set for Apr. 21.
