Mark Matthews Named to Canadian Men’s Indoor World Team

Matthews and Team Canada will look to defend gold in Langley, B.C., Sept. 19-28

OTTAWA – Former University of Denver men's lacrosse attackman Mark Matthews has been named to the 2019 Canadian Men's Indoor Lacrosse Team, the CLA announced on Monday.
 
Canada won gold in 2015, and will look to defend its title in Langley, B.C., Sept. 19-28 this fall.
 
Matthews was named the National Lacrosse League's Most Valuable Player in 2018 after setting a new NLL single-season record with 84 assists and leading the league with 116 points to set a new career high and Rush franchise record. The former Pioneer was second in the league in points (113) in 2017 with 73 helpers.
