Denver Ready for Meeting with Omaha on Saturday

SCOUTING OMAHA
•    Omaha is on a two-game losing streak, including a 77-44 loss to No. 22 South Dakota on Jan. 11 in its last contest.
•    The Mavericks have the most turnovers per game in the Summit League at 19.8 per game.
•    The Mavs have yet to win on the road this season, sitting at 0-6 in road games.
•    Claire Killian has a team-high 9.4 points per game and Mariah Murdie is grabbing a team-leading 6.0 rebounds.

COMMON FOE
•    Denver and Omaha have both faced Kansas City this season.
•    The Pioneers fell in their season opener 83-79 to the Roos on Nov. 5.
•    The Mavericks topped Kansas City 57-53 on Dec. 4.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB
•    Nelson became the 26th player in program history to score 1,000 career points.
•    She is 23rd in program history with 1,108 career points.
•    After grabbing six boards against Western Illinois, Nelson brought her career total to 705 rebounds, becoming the eighth player in program history with 1,000 career points and 700 career rebounds.

•    Senior Madison Nelson was named to the inaugural Her Hoop Stats Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List on Jan. 6.
•    The Dover, Minnesota native is leading the Pioneers in four statistical categories; points (16.2), rebounds (10.7), steals (2.3), and blocks (1.7).
