Denver Primed for Three Matches in Two Days

After clinching a 4-3 win in its season opener against Wichita State, the Denver Pioneers men's tennis team will descend upon the Denver Tennis Park for a three-match home-opening week on Jan. 23-24.

Denver will face Bryant University on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 12 p.m. MT, then host a doubleheader on Friday, Jan. 24 against Metro State at 11 a.m. MT and Weber State at 6 p.m. MT.

The Pioneers will look to carry momentum from the Wichita State match where James Davis clinched the victory with a come-from-behind 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win at #3 singles. Denver topped the Shockers with the doubles point and three singles victories from Davis, Matt Summers at #2 and Daniel Krulig at #6.  The Pioneers' earned doubles victories from Summers/Davis at #1 and Krulig/Ignacio Rivero Crespo at #3.
