DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program will host Delaware in an exhibition on Friday at 3 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Admission for the preseason finale is free.
Head coach
Bill Tierney,
who signed a contract extension through the 2024 campaign this offseason, will begin his 11
th season in charge of the Crimson and Gold, and his 36
th season overall. Denver will be captained by a trio of seniors in attack
Ethan Walker (Peterborough, Ontario), SSDM
Danny Logan (Upper Arlington, Ohio) and close defenseman
Colin Squires (West Linn, Ore.).
Earlier this preseason, Logan was named a preseason Second Team All-American, and Walker was tabbed the BIG EAST Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Walker and Logan were joined on the BIG EAST preseason team by
Colin Squires (West Linn, Ore.) and
Brett Boos (Parker, Colo.).

The Denver men's lacrosse program,
Presented by Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will begin its 2020 campaign on February 8 with a trip to Air Force (1 p.m. MT). Denver will open its home schedule on February 15 against Duke (12 p.m. MT).
