The Denver Pioneers men's tennis team (5-0, 0-0) continued its undefeated start to the season with a 7-0 win against Northern Colorado on Wednesday at the Denver Tennis Park.

The Pioneers opened the match with 6-1 doubles victories from Matt Summers/James Davis at #1 and Mattia Ros/Pedro Fernandez del Valle at #2. On the singles courts, Matt Summers gave Denver a 2-0 lead in the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win at #1, James Davis made it 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #2 and John Zakowski clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at #6. Ros, Daniel Krulig and Ignatius Castelino also picked up singles wins in the sweep. 

Denver returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 31 vs. Utah State at 12:30 p.m. MT.
