DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball team dropped its rematch against Colorado State on Friday night, falling to 79-61 in Hamilton Gymnasium.
Significant Stats:
- Anna Jackson recorded her first collegiate double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Tsimba Malonga was one of four Pioneers in double figures, finishing with a team-high 13 points.
- Denver made eight 3s in the game, its seventh straight game with at least seven.
Inside the Box Score:
- The Crimson and Gold's 61 points were a season low.
- DU attempted 26 free throws, its fourth contest this year with at least 20.

Meghan Boyd chipped in with 10 points, her seventh straight game in double figures.

A 13-4 run by Colorado State to close out the first quarter in the final 3:11.
As it Happened:
First Quarter:
Denver got off to a solid start from deep, keeping it close at 12-12 before late surge from the Rams pushed their advantage to nine after 10 minutes, 25-16.
Second Quarter:
The Pioneer defense helped force the Rams into a tough shooting quarter in the second, limiting them to 29.4 percent (5-for-17) and only 17 points. But, DU couldn't take advantage on the other end, scoring only 13 points to go into the half trailing by 13, 42-29.
Third Quarter:
Denver got to the line in the quarter, going 10-for-12, helping offset shooting issues from beyond the arc. Colorado State, held strong though, outscoring the Pioneers 22-18.
Fourth Quarter:
The Crimson and Gold continued to fight in the final 10 minutes, getting good minutes from Jackson and Malonga to make it an even quarter essentially against CSU on the scoreboard, 15-14 in favor of the Rams.

DU (2-5) closes out the home stand before the holiday break with a rematch with Air Force on Sunday in Hamilton Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. MT.
