DENVER - The No. 45 Denver Pioneers women's tennis team defeated New Mexico 4-0 for its fourth straight win and sixth sweep of the season on Saturday at the Denver Tennis Park.

The Pioneers captured the doubles point with a pair of 6-0 victories. No. 69 Taylor Melville/Hada Chang won 6-0 at #1, then Britt Pursell/Tatum Burger won 6-0 at #3. Pursell had Denver's first win in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #3. Tatum Burger extended the Pioneers' lead to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at #4, then Taylor Melvile clinched the match at #1 with a 6-3, 7-5 victory. 

Denver returns to action on Wednesday, March 11 against Wyoming. First serve is set for 4 p.m. MT.
