DENVER - The NCHC announced the Denver Pioneers hockey team's 24-game conference schedule for the 2020-21 season on Wednesday.
 
The Pioneers, presented by Centura Health, will open their conference schedule on the road against Western Michigan on Nov. 6-7 for their first series in Kalamazoo, Mich. since November 2017. Denver will turn around to host its first two NCHC series of the season: Nov. 13-14 vs. North Dakota and Nov. 20-21 vs. Omaha. The Crimson & Gold are set travel for one final series before the holiday break as they'll head on the road to St. Cloud State on Dec. 11-12.
 
Denver will welcome the two-time defending National Champion Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs to Magness Arena for its first conference series of 2021. After facing the Bulldogs on Jan. 8-9, the Pioneers will hit the road for a series at Miami on Jan. 15-16 and North Dakota on Jan. 22-23.
 
The Crimson & Gold will close January with a home series against St. Cloud State on Jan. 29-30, then open the next month with the first games in the Battle for the Gold Pan. Denver and Colorado College will meet once on subsequent weekends with a matchup in Denver on Saturday, Feb. 6 and in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Feb. 13. Western Michigan will travel to Denver on Feb. 19-20, the Pioneers will travel to Omaha on Feb. 26-27, then Denver will close the year with a home-and-home series against Colorado College, playing at Magness Arena on March 5 and the Broadmoor World Arena on March 6.

The Pioneers will neither host Miami, nor travel to Minnesota Duluth next season.

Denver announced its 10-game non-conference schedule on March 4, featuring home dates against Air Force on Oct. 24, Arizona State on Dec. 4-5 and Alaska Anchorage on Jan. 1-2.
