DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse program has finalized its 16-game regular season schedule that includes 11 games at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, head coach Liza Kelly announced on Thursday.
 
Denver will bookend the season with a home-and-home non-conference series against Colorado. The Pioneers will open the campaign in Boulder on February 28 against the Buffs before concluding the season on April 29 against the Pac-12 foe.
 
The Pioneers will follow up the road opener in Boulder with the start of an eight-game homestand that includes four non-conference games and four BIG EAST contests. DU will take on Arizona State on March 7, San Diego State on March 12 and Oregon on March 14 before getting into conference play.
 
The Pioneers open this year's conference format with a pair of home games against Butler (March 19 and 21) and two more against Georgetown (March 26 and 28). Denver's first homestand of the year will conclude with a match-up against former conference foe UC Davis on March 30.
 
Denver will take its first trip out of the state of Colorado in April for two games with UConn (April 9 and 11) before heading to Marquette for a pair (April 16 and 18).
 
Following the four games away from home, Denver will return to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium to host Villanova (April 23 and 25) before the aforementioned season finale against Colorado on April 29.
 
Georgetown will host the 2021 BIG EAST Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship, presented by Jeep, on May 6-8.
 
Due to local COVID-19 protocols, fans will not be permitted at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium at this time.
