Meet Highlights
The Pioneers got two swimmers in the top three of the 1000 free, the first individual event of the evening.
Daniela Alfaro finished second in 10:48.50 and
Izzy Smith took third in 10:53.50.
Denver got two swimmers on the podium for the second time on Saturday in the 200 free as
Angie Lindsay and
Ines Marin took the second and third spots in the race with times of 1:56.36 and 1:57.94, respectively.
Brandi Vu won her second 100 breast event in as many days to give the Pioneers their first event win of the day.
A night after winning the 100 back at El Pomar Natatorium,
Natalie Arky took the 200 back on Saturday, finishing in 2:07.94.
Charlotte Simon made it back-to-back event wins for the Pioneers, winning the 200 breast in 2:24.39. Simon also won the 200 breast on Friday night against Wyoming.
Emily Vandenberg and Vu finished third and fourth to give Denver 14 of the 19 points in the event.
Lindsay and Alfaro grabbed two of the podium spots in the 500 free with times of 5:11.15 and 5:14.58, respectively.
