Five of DU's opponents finished the 2021 season ranked inside the top 25 including NCAA runner-up Oklahoma.

Denver opens the season at home against San Jose State on January 9 before three consecutive road meets in January, starting with its first of two trips to a Big Ten school with a January 15 meet at Ohio State. The following two weeks feature away competitions against Big 12 Conference opponents, first at West Virginia on January 21 and then at Oklahoma on January 30.

Three of DU's February meets are at home, beginning with New Hampshire on February 6 and Iowa State on February 13. Denver joins Oklahoma for a Big 12 vs. Pac-12 showdown against Washington and Stanford at the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth on February 19 before closing the month at home for an all-Colorado meet against Air Force on February 27.

DU again visits a Big Ten opponent with a trip to Penn State with Cornell on March 5. The team wraps up the regular season with a blockbuster home meet against Arkansas, Oregon State and Nebraska on March 13.

Denver will defend its Big 12 Conference title when it hosts the 2022 Big 12 Championship on March 19.

NCAA Regionals will be held March 30 – April 2 at four campus sites: Auburn University, the University of Kentucky, North Carolina State University and the University of Washington. Fort Worth will again host the NCAA National Championships on April 14-16.

Fans can get their first look at the 2022 DU team at the annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad on December 19, which will be held in Magness Arena for the first time ever. Admission is free.

Denver is coming off a successful 2021 campaign in which DU captured its first-ever Big 12 Conference title. DU advanced to NCAA Regionals for the 22nd-consecutive time, narrowly missing a team berth to the NCAA National Championship. Then-senior Lynnzee Brown used two perfect 10.0s in the NCAA Regional Final to advance to NCAA Nationals where she finished in the top 10 overall on bars, beam and floor.

Brown joins fellow graduate students Emily Glynn and Mia Sundstrom in returning to DU for a fifth season after the NCAA awarded winter sports student-athletes an extra year of eligibility as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Freshmen Mia Hebinck and Momo Iwai are new additions to the roster in 2022 while the team also welcomes back junior Emma Brown, who transferred back to Denver after competing for DU as a freshman in 2020.

Season tickets for DU's five regular season meets will go on sale on Tuesday, November 2, starting at $40. Group tickets will also be available beginning November 2.

Details about tickets for the 2022 Big 12 Championship will be announced in the coming weeks.
