DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program will host Colorado State on Thursday at 7 p.m. MT, the middle game of the Pioneers five-game homestand at Hamilton Gymnasium this month.

Last Time Out:
Denver kept up with Wichita State for three and a half quarters before the Shockers went on a 20-7 run in the final 6:56 to pull away from the Pioneers 76-61 on Monday night at Hamilton Gymnasium. After missing its first 12 shots last Friday, the Pioneers made 5-of-8 to start the game on Monday, including 4-for-4 from beyond the arc.
DI Series History:
Denver is 7-11 against CSU in the previous 18 Division I meetings, including 4-5 on the DU campus. The Rams have won each of the last eight contests following a stretch of seven of eight wins for the Pioneers.

What's Next:
Denver will have a full week off before hosting its annual Denver Classic next weekend. The Pioneers will host Texas A&M Corpus Christi at 3:30 p.m. MT on Friday, November 26, and then will play Wyoming on Saturday, November 27 (3:30 p.m. MT). Tulane is the fourth team in the tournament and will play a pair of 1 p.m. MT games against the inverse opponent of the Pioneers.
Team Notes:
- Head Coach Doshia Woods has a 8-18 record, in her second season in 2021-22.
- Prior to Denver, Woods spent 10 seasons on the Tulane women's basketball staff.
- Denver returns three starters from last year's team. Meghan Boyd and Uju Ezeudu started 20 games apiece, while Anna Jackson started 19 last season.
- The trio combined for 41.4 points and 15.7 rebounds per game.
- The three Pios have combined for 39.3 points and 16.6 rebounds per game this season.
- The Pioneers feature six newcomers, including three freshmen and three transfers.
- Tess Santos had nine points in her Crimson and Gold Debut Tuesday, all in the second quarter, in Denver's loss to Air Force.
- Indeya Sanders had eight assists to go with eight points in Denver's loss to Wichita State on Nov. 15.
- Denver's Ezeudu had 17 rebounds in the Pioneers home opener on November 12, tied for the fifth most in a game in Denver's Division I history and tied for the seventh most in a game in the country this season (thru Nov. 15).
- The Crimson and Gold were picked fifth in the Summit League Preseason Poll after earning the No. 6 seed in last year's tournament.
- Ezeudu and Boyd were named to the Summit League Preseason Second Team.
