DENVER – The University of Denver Volleyball team got the season sweep over North Dakota on Thursday, winning in straight sets (25-13, 25-10, 25-15) in Hamilton Gymnasium. The Pioneers improved to 20-3 (11-2 SL) with the victory.

- Brianna Green had a night, getting eight kills on 11 attacks to lead the Pioneers.
- Ari Winters added six kills.
- Denver posted a season-high .463 hitting percentage.

- The Pioneers' 20-3 start to the year is their best since 2018.

Turning Point
An 8-3 run to start the match from DU.
1st Set
Denver opened fast, jumping out to an 8-3 to start while hitting a ridiculous .833 during the stretch. Pioneers pushed the lead to 18-10 after a big kill from Winters. The Crimson and Gold went on to take the set, 25-13.
2nd Set
A 7-3 run to start sparked another good start for DU, forcing North Dakota to call a timeout. The grew to double digits at 16-6 after an attack error from UND. Denver took it from there, winning the set 25-10.
3rd Set
Denver started the third with another big run, going up 10-4, highlighted by numerous power kills from everyone. A kill from
Erica Andrich made it 18-11, resulting in the Fighting Hawks taking the last timeout. DU kept on the gas from there, taking it 25-15, sealing the match.

The Pioneers (20-3, 11-2 SL) closes out the weekend with a home match against North Dakota State on Saturday. First serve is set for 1 p.m. MT in Hamilton Gymnasium.
