DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball team will open its 2021-22 Summit League slate when the Pioneers travel to head coach
Doshia Woods' alma mater to take on Western Illinois on Monday at 5 p.m. MT.

Uju Ezeudu recorded her second-straight double-double and her third of the season with 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting, to go with 10 rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal, but the Pios fell to Purdue in their non-conference finale.
Anna Jackson connected on four triples en-route to a 16-point afternoon.
Meghan Boyd rounded out Denver's double-figure scorers with 10 points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal.

Series History:
Western Illinois has won 14 of the 17 Division I meetings between the two programs with all 17 meetings coming since the Pioneers joined the Summit League in 2013-14. Denver has won two of the last five, but has yet to win in nine meetings in Western Hall.
