Denver Finishes Up The Prestige

Pioneers Griggs places 44th
LA QUINTA, CALIF. – The University of Denver men's golf team finished up day three of The Prestige tournament on Wednesday. The Pioneers posted a team score of 294 (10-over) on the afternoon.
Course Info:
- Greg Norman Course at PGA West
- Par 71 for the course
- 7100 yards
Significant Stats:
- Arizona took home the team title at 4-under for the event, a tie with North Carolina.
- The Wildcats Trey Werblyo took home individual medalist honors at 4-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Carson Griggs was Denver's top finisher at 6-over (219), which tied for 44th in the tournament.
- Cal McCoy dropped five spots to finish tied for 66th in the tournament at 8-over.
- Jackson Solem placed in a tie for 72nd.
- Esteban Missura tied for 103rd at 15-over.
- Connor Jones was right behind his teammate, finishing tied for 106th at 16-over.
Up Next:
The Pioneers return to action for the Lamkin San Diego Classic on March 8.
