DENVER – University of Denver men's soccer sophomore midfielder Kengo Ohira was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the website announced on Tuesday.

Ohira scored a goal in both matches for the Pioneers on the opening weekend, netting an 85^th minute insurance goal on a 25-yard free kick in the season opener before scoring the game-winner from distance in the 51^st minute on Saturday evening.

The University of Denver men's soccer team will continue its four-match homestand on Thursday, March 4, when the Pioneers welcome Oral Roberts to the Diane Wendt Sports Complex.
