Denver Sits in Fourth Heading into Final Day of RMISA Championships

Norli, Ray and Flaschberger all earn top-10s in classical races
MIDWAY, UTAH – The University of Denver Skiing team sits in fourth with one day of events to go at the 2021 RMISA Championships. Today's Nordic races at Soldier Hollow saw three Pioneers finish in the top-10.
Significant Stats:
- Vera Norli led Denver in points on Friday with 27, taking sixth in the women's 5K Classical.
- Hanna Ray took ninth to earn 25 points.
- In the men's 10K Classical, Bernhard Flaschberger finished ninth to earn 23 points.
- Emma Larsson finished 23rd to round out the Denver point scorers for the women's race (14). Gracie Shanley finished 24th and Sadie Cotton took 27th.
- On the men's side, Ole Marius Kirkeng took 18th (17), Borgar Norrud finished in 23rd (13), Jimmy Colfer clocked in at 29 minutes flat to take 28th and Evan Barbier finished 33rd.
- Denver's team total is now at 347, seven points ahead of fifth-place Alaska Anchorage.
