DENVER - The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team won its third straight match with a 4-0 sweep of the Utah Utes on Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.
Denver took the lead with a pair of 6-1 doubles wins from
Britt Pursell/
Camille Verden-Anderson at #1 and
Taylor Melville/
Toni Nelson at #3. In singles play, the Pioneers relied upon strong play from their top courts.
Taylor Melville won 6-1, 6-2 at #1,
Anna Riedmiller won 6-3, 6-4 at #2 and
Britt Pursell won 6-2, 6-3 at #3.
