Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Denver Sweeps Metro State, 7-0

DENVER - The Denver Pioneers men's tennis team recorded its seventh straight win and second consecutive sweep with a 7-0 victory against Metro State on Monday at the Denver Tennis Park.

Denver took the doubles point with the help of Matt Summers/James Davis' 6-2 win at #1 doubles and Peter Sallay/Mattia Ros' 6-1 win at #2 doubles. Every Pioneer won their singles match in straight sets. Davis, Summers and Daniel Krulig dropped only one game each. 

John Zakowski and Charlie Miller saw action for the first time this season with Miller logging a 6-4, 6-0 win at #6 singles. 

UP NEXT: The Pioneers are set to return to the court on Friday, March 12 at New Mexico.
