DENVER – The Denver Pioneers volleyball team earned its 10^th win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of North Dakota State in the penultimate home match of the season on Friday at Hamilton Gymnasium.

1^st Set
Denver led the whole way in the first set. With early contributions from Tina Boe & Brianna Green, the Pioneers built a 13-9 lead by the first timeout. North Dakota State pushed to get back in the set with a run of four points make it 14-13, but the Pioneers finished strong by winning 11 of the next 13 points to take a lead in the match.

2^nd Set
The Bison committed five attack errors in the first 10 points to help the Pioneers to a 8-2 lead in the set. Denver extended its advantage to 15-4 with a five-point run midway through the set, then went on a four-point run to 19-5. Boe held serve for the final four points with back-to-back service aces. North Dakota State suffered from a -.148 hitting percentage in the second set compared to Denver's .522.

3^rd Set
Similar to the second set, Denver started quickly to mount a six-point lead at 9-3. That same advantage reappeared at 13-6. The Pioneers were relentless in their pursuit of the sweep to take the third set by 12 points. Denver did not commit an error in the set until it led 19-7.

Significant Stats
-Denver logged its eighth sweep of the season
-The Pioneers had a .353 hitting percentage compared to the Bison's -.019
-Tina Boe had a team-high 10 kills
-Lydia Bartalo had a team-high 12 digs to compliment nine kills
-Lorrin Poulter had a team-high 10 assists and six blocks
