McCoy ties for 34th
CARY, N.C. – The University of Denver men's golf team closed out the Stitch Intercollegiate on Saturday. The Pioneers finished 10th in the 12-team field with a team score of 858.
Course Info:
- MacGregor Downs Country Club
- Par 72 for the course
- 6,973 yards
Significant Stats:
- Host No. 9 North Carolina State won the team title at 51-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Cal McCoy was Denver's top finisher at 34th after posting a 54-hole total of 2-under.
- Both Carson Griggs, Jackson Solem and John Sand tied for 41st at even par with a three-round score of 216.
- Connor Jones wrapped up his day tied for 49th at 3-over.
