SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver women's golf senior
Camille Enright snagged her second Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week this year on Wednesday in a release by the league. The senior was recognized for her dominant play this past week at the Dick McGuire Invitational.
Enright had her best finish of the season, taking runner-up honors after finishing at 5-under in the 54-hole tournament.
"Cam was incredible this week from tee to green," head coach
Lindsay Kuhle said. "She averaged just over 29 putts each round and lead the field in par four scoring and most birdies at 15. She putted lights out.
"This is such a well-deserved honor because she's our captain and leader and has played really well this season leading our team to top finishes the entire season. This is her second top-three finish this season alone."
The Plano, Texas native has enjoyed her best season yet as a Pioneer, posting a career-best 73.0 scoring average, including a career-low 68 in the second round of the Dick McGuire Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
"She's been a great leader, she's incredibly competitive, confident and her game is the best I've seen it in her five years here," Kuhle added.
