DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis program won its seventh-straight match on Monday afternoon, a 4-0 decision over Washington State at the Denver Tennis Park.
In doubles, Denver dropped a rare match at the No. 1 court, but it was wins from Hada Chang and Anna Riedmiller on the No. 2 court and Taylor Melville and Toni Nelson on the No. 3 court that wrapped up the doubles point for the Pioneers.
In singles, Denver earned wins on courts three, five and six.
Britt Pursell won her ninth-straight singles match by a count of 6-1, 6-1 on court three. Tatum Burger won her match on court five by a score of 6-2, 6-3 and Hada Chang won a back-and-forth three-setter 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
