AUSTIN – University of Denver men's soccer grad senior goalkeeper Will Palmquist has been named to the prestigious CoSIDA Academic All-America third team, the association announced on Monday.
With this honor, Palmquist became Denver's eighth men's soccer student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors.
Palmquist had a 3.95 grade point average in finance and data analytics. The 2020 United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region selection guided the Pioneers to the Summit League regular season title, playing every minute in goal for the Pioneers in the abbreviated spring season. Palmquist was 15th in the NCAA in goals against average, allowing a 0.625 GAA.
