• This is the 39th meeting all-time against the Bears.
• UNC leads the series 28-10, winning the last matchup 3-1 back on Sept. 7, 2016.
• This is the second meeting against the Huskies.

• Graduate student Lydia Bartalo was named MVP of the Trojan Invitational.
• Bartalo posted 40 kills, 24 digs and 10 service aces in three matches at the tournament.
• Tina Boe and Gianna Bartalo were also recognized for their play, being named to the All-Tournament Team.

Summit League Preseason Poll

• Denver was picked second in the Summit League Preseason Poll and received four first-place votes by the coaches on Aug. 25.
• Graduate student Ellie Anderson and Brianna Green were tabbed as "Players to Watch" by the league.
