DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer program will wrap-up its first road trip of the season at Grand Canyon's non-conference tournament when the Pioneers take on Northern Arizona on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. MT.

The Pioneers dropped their second-consecutive 4-2 match, this one against Grand Canyon in Denver's home opener. Sami Feller and Sydney Sharp scored for the Pioneers.
 
Denver vs. Northern Arizona Series History:
The Pioneers are 1-1-1 all-time against Northern Arizona, but the two programs will meet for the first time since 2004 on Saturday. The two teams split the last meeting in 2004, a 1-1 draw in Denver. The Pioneers won the 2003 match in Arizona 2-1 and Northern Arizona won the 1998 neutral site match in Tucson 3-1.
 
Notable Stats:

• Denver has scored 16 goals from 12 different players to start the 2021 season. Sydney Sharp and Kaitlyn Glover are the only two players to score multiple goals for Denver this season, finding the back of the net four times and two times, respectively.
• The Pioneers 12 different goal scorer's marks the most since 2013, when Denver had 13 different players find the back of the net. Denver's school record for different players to score in a season is 18 in the 2006 campaign.
• Career Points Record Update: Feller has 73 career points, putting her in a tie for seventh in Denver's Division I history. Beckman has 68 career points, moving her into the top 10.
• Career Assists Record Update: Beckman has 34 career assists, two off Kristen Hamilton's 36 career assists and five assists off co-record holders Nicholette DiGiacomo and Jamie Norwood.
• Career Goals Record Update: Feller has 27 career goals, good for eighth in Denver's DI history.

What's Next:
Denver returns home next weekend to take on a pair of Pac 12 opponents at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The Pioneers will take on Washington State on Thursday at 7 p.m. MT and then Colorado on Sunday at 1 p.m. MT.
