DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer team has added
Jaidin Kinch for the 2026-27 academic year, head coach
Julianne Sitch announced on Tuesday.
Kinch has already enrolled at the University of Denver for the winter 2026 quarter and started training with the team for their upcoming 2026 spring season.
The Castle Rock, Colorado, native returns to her home state after beginning her collegiate career at the University of South Alabama but redshirted both of her first two seasons. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, she made five appearances and one start for South Alabama, allowing just three goals – two of which came against NCAA Round of 16 qualifier LSU – and earning a shutout on August 17 against Tennessee Tech.
Prior to collegiate, she played at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and was a member of the team that won three consecutive league titles from 2020-22. In her time at Valor Christian, she held a .530 GAA and collected 13 clean sheets. In 2022 as a senior, she allowed just nine goals.
Kinch will be one of seven newcomers for Denver's 2026-27 squad. In November, DU announced it would be
adding six freshmen next season as well.
Denver is coming off a 2025 season that saw it win a share of the Summit League regular-season crown in what was its final year as a member of the Summit League. Beginning on July 1, 2026, the University of Denver will be a
member of the West Coast Conference, a move that was announced on October 31, 2025.
