PROVO, Utah – The University of Denver men's tennis doubles tandem of
James Davis and
Matt Summers took home ITA Provo Regional title with a 6-3, 3-6 (10-3) victory on Saturday morning. Saturday's tournament win books the tandems ticket to the ITA Fall National Championships in California in November.
An hour later, Davis fell 6-2, 6-4 in the singles championship, but as a singles finalist, Davis will also appear in the ITA Fall Nationals main draw in San Diego.
