DENVER – The [17/8] University of Denver men's soccer team picked up right where it left off after a 10-day layoff, defeating Eastern Illinois 3-0 on Saturday morning at Lakeside Field.
JACK AND SHEILA WEINBERG HEAD MEN'S SOCCER COACH JAMIE FRANKS:
"I'm really proud of the team performance. Playing at 11 a.m. local time is no easy task and I thought the guys stayed on it today and turned in a professional performance. Holger has had an up and down transition to college soccer, but we know he's a fantastic player, and he just had to see the ball go into the net and he could score in bunches. We're looking forward to seeing where this performance can take him."
