
Denver Places Fifth at Ron Moore Intercollegiate

HIGHLANDS RANCH – The University of Denver women's golf team held firm on the final day of play at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Sunday, finishing fourth at 2-over. The Pioneers posted a 54-hole total of 866.

Significant Stats:
- Vanderbilt took home the team title at 25-under, a new tournament record
- Napat Lertsadwattana of New Mexico and Tulane's Carla Bernat were announced as co-winners of the tournament at 10-under.
- Denver's 189 pars lead the field for the three-day event.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:
- Alyson Bean led the Crimson and Gold at 1-under, tying for 13th.
- Anna Zanusso wrapped up her tournament with another solid round, going 2-under on the day to bring her total to even par and tying for 15th.
- Anna Krekling tied for 22th at 2-over.
- Erika Danielsson ended her first tournament of the year tied for 25th with a three-round score at 3-over.
- Emma Bryant finished up tied for 53rd at 8-over.
- Clara Gestsdottir, competing as an individual, closed out her best tournament of the year, tying for 10th at 2-under.
- Katarina Drocarova, competing as an individual, finished up tied for 18th 1-over.
