DU Gymnastics Signs Two for 2023-24

Maddison Reidenbach, Madison Ulrich signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday

DENVER – Two future University of Denver gymnasts signed National Letters of Intent for the 2023-24 season, Joy S. Burns Women's Gymnastics Head Coach Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart announced on Thursday.

Maddison Reidenbach and Madison Ulrich both signed their NLIs to attend DU beginning in the fall of 2023.

"We're excited to welcome Maddison and Madison – our two M&Ms – to the Denver Gymnastics family," Kutcher-Rinehart said. "They both compete and train at a high level, and have a strong command over their gymnastics; but they'll bring different strengths and their own unique brands of gymnastics to our team. They're quality students, athletes and people who are committed and passionate about DU, and they embody our philosophy of teamwork, character and excellence. We're excited to get them into lineups, and both will be competitive on the team right away."

Madison Reidenbach is a Level 10 gymnast from Hudson, Wisconsin, and trains at Flips Gymnastics. She is a four-star recruit, according to College Gym News.

Reidenbach is a three-time USAG Development Program Level 10 National Championships qualifier, most recently tying for eighth on vault in 2022. In 2019, she was second on bars, fifth in the all-around and tied for eighth on floor at Level 10 Nationals; and she added a sixth-place finish on bars and an 11th-place finish in the all-around at the 2021 Level 10 Nationals.

At the 2022 Region 4 Championships, she won four of the five possible titles, placing first in the all-around and on vault, bars and floor. In total, she has placed in the top three seven times across three Region 4 Championships appearances including all three times in the all-around.

"Maddison is a strong, powerful gymnast," Kutcher-Rinehart said. "She's very competitive but has an even-keeled approach to her gymnastics, and we'll be able to rely on her steady and consistent performances on all four events."
