GRAND FORKS, ND --The Denver volleyball team totaled 10 blocks on the way to a three-set win (25-22, 27-25, 25-17) against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks Thursday on the road at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
The conference victory improved Denver's record to 17-10 overall and 11-5 in Summit play.
The Pioneers offense was paced by Jordan Lockwood, who finished with 13 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .314, and by Hailey Green, who had 10 while hitting .261. got nine digs from Gianna Bartalo along with five blocks from Cadi Boyer and five rejections from Lockwood to lead them defensively.
